Intel plans to release processors for smartphones


The world's first smartphone based on Intel will be Lenovo K800. In the sale it will be available in late May. "Brain" devaysa - energy-saving Intel Atom Z2460 processor is a new generation of chipsets Intel Medfield, which are designed specifically for mobile devices. Thanks to the 1.6-gigahertz processor the phone will be one of the most powerful in its class.

The new phone runs on OS Android, has a 4.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, 1 GB RAM, 8-megapixel camera with dual LED-flash and high, both for mobile devices, the maximum sensitivity of ISO 3200.

Smartphone technology supports Near Field Communication, WiDi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. In addition, it uses a new technology Intel Avatar, details of which will be available a little later.
